Love Your Tree

Love Your Tree: Growing Body Confidence, One Student at a Time

At White Pine Center for Healing, our Love Your Tree program brings a powerful message of self-acceptance directly into classrooms across our region. Through an engaging, hands-on art project, students create their own unique tree– each one shaped by their experiences, strengths, challenges, and dreams.

As we guide elementary, middle, and high school groups through this reflective activity, students learn a simple but profound truth: just as no two trees in a forest are alike, no two children are meant to look, grow, or be the same.

The program opens the door to important conversations about body confidence, personal identity, and the courage to embrace one’s story. With art as the bridge, students discover that their individuality is not something to hide, it’s something to celebrate.

Love Your Tree helps young people recognize their inherent worth, nurture compassion for themselves and others, and plant seeds of resilience that will grow for years to come.

Love Your Tree is a Body Confidence program, helping kids combat their own internal body shape or size stigma.
